JVZoo supports Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) payment options to help increase conversions and provide your customers with more flexibility at checkout.


BNPL allows customers to split their purchase into smaller installment payments — while you continue to receive your funds according to your selected payment processor’s terms.


BNPL can be enabled in one of two ways:
✔ Option 1 — Through Stripe or PayPal


✔ Option 2 — Through JVZoo Payment Services (Application Required)


This article explains how each option works and how to set it up.

Option 1 — Enable Buy Now, Pay Later via Stripe or PayPal
If you use Stripe or PayPal on JVZoo, you may be able to activate BNPL directly inside your payment processor account.


Availability depends on your region, account status, and processor approval.


PayPal Pay Later


PayPal offers installment options such as Pay in 4 and Pay Monthly (where available).

Once activated, eligible customers will automatically see PayPal Pay Later during checkout.


Stripe Buy Now, Pay Later


Stripe supports multiple BNPL providers including Afterpay/Clearpay, Affirm, and Klarna (availability varies by region).

When BNPL is enabled in your Stripe account, eligible customers will see these options during JVZoo checkout.
Option 2 — Enable BNPL Through JVZoo Payment Services
If you are not using Stripe or PayPal — or would like BNPL via JVZoo’s internal processing network — you can apply for JVZoo Payment Services.


How to Apply
  1. Log into JVZoo

  2. Go to My Account

  3. Select Payment Profiles

  4. Click Apply for JVZoo Payment Services

  5. Complete the short questionnaire

  6. Submit required KYC verification documents

Your application will be reviewed by our team.
Product Eligibility Review
Once your account is approved, each product will be reviewed for BNPL eligibility.


Approval is based on multiple factors including:


✔ Product type & category
✔ Refund trends
✔ Chargeback history
✔ Compliance standing
✔ Sales performance
✔ Risk profile

BNPL acceptance is not automatic and is granted at JVZoo’s discretion.
How to Request BNPL Activation
Once approved for JVZoo Payment Services:

A team member will review your request and confirm eligibility.
What Customers See at Checkout
Once BNPL is activated, eligible customers may see installment options during checkout. These options can include:
  • Klarna

  • Afterpay

  • Splitit

  • Sezzle

  • PayPal Pay Later

Availability varies depending on region, processor, currency, and program eligibility.

This allows customers to choose whether to pay in full or in installments before completing their order.

    Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
    Do I still get paid upfront?


    You will receive payments according to your processor’s standard settlement terms. Customers making installment payments does not change your processor’s settlement schedule.

    Does JVZoo approve or decline BNPL transactions?


    No. Approval is determined by the BNPL provider (e.g., Stripe / PayPal partners).

    Are refunds supported?


    Refunds follow your normal refund policy and processor rules. Any active installment plans are handled by the BNPL provider.

    Will BNPL increase my fees?


    Some BNPL providers may charge different processing fees. Please check directly with Stripe or PayPal.

    Is BNPL available worldwide?


    Availability depends on:

    • Country of seller

    • Country of buyer

    • Currency

    • Payment processor

    • Eligibility rules of BNPL provider
    Can JVZoo turn BNPL on automatically?


    No. Approval is required either through:

    ✔ Stripe / PayPalor
    ✔ JVZoo Payment Services
